how to steal a million

In many ways, "How to Steal a Million" is one of my least favorite Audrey Hepburn films. (It's second only to "Charade," which for the most part takes place in a janitor's closet.) Still, despite its flaws, the set and costume design from this 1966 movie make it a must-see.

The oversized rhinestone earrings and lace mask. The cute little driving helmet and white, mod, oversized sunglasses. The marble staircase carpeted in rich, royal purple.

Though the storyline is easy to forget--something to do with counterfeit art, if I remember right--the look of the film is completely memorable.
